In response to numerous ecological disasters and the degradation of the environment through the use of cyanide for the extraction of gold and silver, a group of Romanian researchers and inventors developed an original process for extracting the noble metals, gold and silver, through a hydrometallurgical process. This hydrometallurgical process uses non-pollutant alkaline solutions to obtain gold and silver, practically DEFINITELY excluding the use of CYANIDE solution, as the only way of processing gold-silver ores, known throughout the world as being seriously polluting and particularly harmful for people and nature.
This technology is based on laboratory research and trials carried out between 2005 and 2010, and on the production obtained in a small capacity production plant, by processing an amount of over 10,000 kg of raw material.
